18 years

I love to practice Forrest Yoga and Hot Vinyasa. I teach Kids and Prenatal.

What is your favorite part of being a member of our studio, classes, & community?
I have been coming to Two Rivers for almost 15 years! I love the blissful space that Two Rivers provides and especially the strong sense of community.

What is a pose(s) that has helped you heal, feel centered, connected or beautiful?
I find Wheel pose to be so uplifiting and grounding, energizing, and makes me feel FREE! It’s such a playful pose to me and gets me in touch with my “kid” body.

What difference overall has practicing Yoga made in your life?
Yoga has been such a gift to me, opening me up to the infinite power of love, strength, and flexibility (literally, but mostly figuratively). Sometimes after a good practice, I feel like my heart has been blasted open wide, in such a good and healing way. Yoga has allowed the facilitation of more compassion in me and allowed me to see the good in all, deepening my connection to everything in the universe.

What else quickens your blood and/or brightens your Spirit?
Handstands!

What is your favorite place in Nature?
My favorite place in nature is probably a tropical beach, but I also truly love the forest. How do you connect to it personally? The forest is so alive! I love just tuning into the birds and feeling the interconnectedness of this grand web of life.

What would you like people to know about your classes and the way you teach?
I have a passion for pregnant goddesses, babies, and children which is what has drawn me to prenatal and children’s yoga. I teach with a playful spirit and a kind, open, heart.

What do you want people to know about you personally?
I love to help people and strive to be a healer in some capacity. I am so excited to bring the gift of yoga to the pregnant women in the valley!
