Manon began practicing yoga in 2012, to compliment her nature connection journey with Wilderness Awareness School’s Anake program. She immediately fell in love with the way nature connection and body connection wove together to create healing in her own life. Suspecting that this combination could serve for more people than just herself, Manon spent a month Studying from Ana Forrest in a 200 hour Foundation Teacher Training, followed by a year long Forrest Yoga Mentorship. She is currently working on completing additional certification work.
Working as a nature mentor for her “day job”, Manon is passionate about wild places. When she is not teaching yoga, she is often found with mud on her face, and plants in her hair. Sometimes she can even trick the kids she is working with into doing yoga with her.
Manon’s connection to and deep love for nature is apparent in all of her classes. She has been known to howl like a wolf when she teaches. In addition to being a playful weirdo, Manon also offers gentle, compassionate presence, and is a strong advocate for self-appreciation.
