In addition to teaching yoga, Trina is a wife to her best friend and a mom to 2 fun-loving, children. She loves practicing yoga, dance, and fitness. She delights in spending time with loved ones, looking at art, listening to live music, traveling, is fascinated by science, enjoys cooking, baking, eating nutritious and tasty food, reading, and being outdoors.

Yoga has been a passion of Trina’s for over 15 years. She discovered yoga while working in a demanding job in the mortgage industry. In 2000, she took a leave of absence from work to complete her first teacher training with Bikram and Rajashree Choudhury. A couple of years later, she took another leave of absence to complete the Forrest Yoga Foundation Teacher Training with Ana Forrest, creatrix of Forrest Yoga. For a few years, Trina had taught yoga while also working full time. After the birth of her first child, she decided it was time to leave her career as a Mortgage Underwriter, to take care of her growing family, and to also continue to learn and grow as a yoga teacher.

Trina’s classes are inspired by what she has learned and discovered from her own yoga practice, her teacher trainings, and the workshops and classes she continues to take from many inspiring teachers. Most recently, she completed Advanced Teacher Training with Ana Forrest and Kelley Rush, at Two Rivers Yoga studio. Trina encourages each person to listen to their own body and practice their yoga with integrity, compassion, and awareness. Her classes are customized and sequenced with emphasis on allowing individuals of all fitness levels to participate and enjoy.
