  Testimonials

"Kelley Rush is a unique, fascinating, loving teacher; even in the group of powerful and excellent people that comprise the Forrest Yoga teaching community. She has a vast skill level and clarity of communication that touches and inspires students of all levels. She has a great capacity for coaching students in modifying their practice, to heal their injuries and progress quickly. Kelley is an adept at wrangling and inspiring a group of students that range from beginning to advanced, while all in the same class. I have entrusted Kelley with some of the more delicate and important parts of the Forrest Yoga Hoop of the People. Kelley is a mentor, a mentor liaison, and the assistant program co-director.

I highly encourage any and all students who want to heal and progress deeply in their practice to work with Kelley at any opportunity. She embodies a nurturing, brave, fearless door kicker. By example, she teaches her students how to deal with and move through their challenges with courage and humor. She's way hella funny. She is also colorful and charismatic. Kelley knows how to bring it on and pour it out to her community, and anyone else who has the honor of being in her company. Kelley has worked ceaselessly for me, as a friend, and as a Medicine sister. Kelley is a woman of honor and beauty, who embodies the principles of Forrest Yoga. I love taking her classes. If they work for me, they sure as hell will work for you! "

"A fellow Forrest Yogi came up to me after taking my class the other day and remarked how much I have grown as a teacher in the last year - I told her that it’s all on account of the Forrest Yoga Mentorship Program. With my Mentors’ encouragement, I have learned to speak with depth and power, anchored by my breath. I feel more authentic in my teaching than ever, and am learning more and more each day about seeing, empathing and running energy on my students. I feel plugged in to the Forrest Yoga community now, connected not just to the beautiful women and mentors in my group, but to the larger Bay Area community of teachers and Forrest Yoga devotees. I highly recommend this program to any Forrest Yoga teacher who wants to deepen their connection to Spirit, and to Teaching and Walking a Path of Beauty!"

"I’ve hand-picked these Mentors for their unique skills. They are incredibly equipped to run this program and have pledged to be Guardians of the Forrest Yoga Legacy and the Hoop of the Teachers. They have committed to shepherding Mentees to become great Forrest Yoga teachers and to making the Mending the Hoop of the People happen. These are big life pledges and I couldn't ask for a deeper loyalty to Forrest Yoga."
