For some, starting Yoga can feel new and exciting! For others, intimidating and scary, yet you have heard it can be good for you! At Two Rivers Yoga we strive to be helpful, warm and welcoming to all new students. We get it! Whether you are a beginner, or are new to our studio, we invite you to “come as you are”, and experience the long lasting gifts and benefits of practice! Here are a few tips for your first class:

•All beginning, new to Yoga, students who are new to yoga should start with Beginner/Gentle Yoga Classes.

•Although it is not a requirement, we’ve made it convenient for you to pre-register and pay for classes through our website, on our class schedule page.

•Unless otherwise noted, all of the classes on our regular class schedule are on-going.

•Come 5-10 minutes early for your classes, so you can take your time to settle in.

•Wear comfortable clothes such as sweats, leggings, t-shirts, tank tops. No shoes will be needed.

•Please avoid using perfume or wearing heavy jewelry.

•Bring a water bottle and small hand towel. If you have a yoga mat please bring it. If not, we have studio mats you can use.

•Please tell the instructor about any ongoing injuries, pregnancy, or medical conditions before the start of class.

•If you are pregnant, please munch on something light before class.

•Turn your cell phone OFF.

•Be sure to sign-up for our e-mail list for class updates, changes and other news.

•There are no refunds unless we cancel the class or workshop.
